I grew up in Southeast Arkansas and moved to NWA with my daughter several years ago. I have a background in the pharmaceutical industry, education, and mental health. Working with individuals coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and demographics is fulfilling my life’s purpose. I have experience working with families and individuals in transition, such as moving, starting college or a new job, grief/loss, housing/economical insecurities, job loss, divorce, and life disruptions.

 

Transition is hard, endings are difficult, and uncertainty is scary. Unresolved emotions, trauma, and/or grief can become complicated, resulting in behaviors and thought patterns that affect all areas of your life. It can lead to burnout, loss of energy, and emotional imbalance. It can cause isolation, anger, and confusion, accompanied by hopelessness, loneliness, and despair. With an intense focus on implementing a high level of care and compassion, my approach to counseling is very much tailored to each individual, with cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques as overarching components that are implemented.
As part of Crestview PTCC, I consult with our team of therapists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing, to get you the needed help.
